Why bring a team?
Mission teams are a blessing to both the U.S. church and the Mexican church. These teams not only meet immediate needs but also empower pastors and strengthen local congregations. Their impact goes beyond physical assistance—mission trips create powerful opportunities for personal transformation.
Team members from the U.S. often return home with a deeper understanding of their faith, having witnessed God working in and through them in incredible ways. As they step out of their comfort zones and experience the global Church firsthand, they gain a renewed excitement to serve Jesus and a broader perspective on His work around the world.
What will my team do?
Each trip is tailor-made—designed with the skills, age, and size of your team in mind, as well as the specific needs of the Mexican church you’ll be serving. Every trip is unique, but we focus on four key areas:
Construction
Helping with church buildings or homes in the community. This work is a game-changer for churches! In just one week, we can accomplish what might take months for them to do alone. Your hands and financial support provide a significant boost to their ministry.
Community Events
Engaging with the local community through outreach events like Vacation Bible School, sports camps, and family festivals. These events help the church make connections and share the love of Christ.
Evangelistic Ministry
Spreading the message of Jesus by visiting rehab centers or distributing free Bibles, are two examples of finding meaningful ways to share the gospel during your time at STS.
Health Clinics
Health Clinics can be a powerful way to serve! Providing an initial contact point meeting physical needs while also opening doors to share the gospel.
